Hannah Foster is the director of Sugarlift, a New York City-based contemporary art gallery and online marketplace that connects collectors directly with today’s best emerging artists. Our mission is to help more artists create sustainable careers by finding a new audience of collectors. Since 2014, we’ve helped thousands of art buyers find artwork from emerging and established artists in New York City and beyond. Additionally a freelance arts & culture writer, Foster’s articles on everything from artist-flavored macarons to perfumed plays have appeared in publications including The New York Times, The Paris Review Daily, Brooklyn Rail, Hyperallergic, Dance Magazine, and The Rumpus, among others. Hannah is an active member of the MoMA Junior Associates and performs with a small contemporary ballet company throughout New York and New Jersey.
